Bluelight disco
The Bluelight disco aims to provide a safe place where young people can enjoy music, dance and mix with young people of their own age. They are aimed at first - fourth year school pupils. They are run by the police, health workers, youth workers and volenters, and are alcohol and drugs free evenings. You will be breathalysed at the door and if you have been drinking or show signs of having taken drugs you will not get in.
As well as speaking to the police you can also chat with health workers and people from a variety of voluntary agencies in the "chill out area". The health workers bring a variety of health resources for you to look at and use to help you make choices about your health lifestyle.
